As for the article, it's a running gag in my pod that articles get posted about animals that prove what people working with animals already knew all of the time. Probably the best category is the studies that show that various animals have a "theory of mind" which is probably is intrinsic to being able to hunt or not get hunted but frequently a difficult experiment to set up.
