He was the worst kind of politician. A hand-wringer who temporised with bad people to prevent rational economic outcomes, because "socialism is bad" despite being avowedly of the middle ground.
It didn't surprise me he sold his soul to Meta, and glibly repeats their talking lines, and defends the indefensible.
