Thanks Sebastiaan for exploring this, great demonstration and insights. Can’t wait to see what the actual redesign is going to look like.

It might not matter with so many companies eschewing Apple’s design UI concepts for their own (to maintain similarity cross platform or just for branding reasons) but making a UI design change requires developers to be onboard (to a degree). The problem is Apple doesn’t really have the ability to force through a change like that with their current dev relations (which are at an all time low).

It will be interesting to see how developers (especially indies) respond to this change (all the work being dumped on their plate).
