I took the undergrad computer security class he taught in the 90s, and it’s easily one of the most memorable I’ve ever had.
At that time, he was involved with national/cybersecurity with the Clinton white house and had to go to DC multiple times. Each time he lined up a speaker from government to talk about real security fails that happened at DoD and/or various 3-letter agencies. Those talks were the best!
