Zero plans to buy one and I bought every prior Nintendo hardware. My middle age group of one time die hard Nintendo gadget buyers is “eh”. Same vibe from kids around us. “Oh more of the same.”
Mark my words, Gen1 Switch games are it for Nintendo game design evolution except higher resolution.
Mario Kart world is 8 “but bigger”. Technical improvements given faster hardware, same feel to play.
Zelda is forever an anime cartoon now.
They haven’t changed Mario’s core since Mario 64.
Joycons are still a flimsy gimmick.
It’s all too expensive for more of the same but slightly faster chip.
It will sell but I doubt it sells as well with PC handhelds gaining… Steam.
As someone who barely keeps an eye on the industry, I just play games. When my circle is not into something that suggests a main stream appeal issue. It’ll sell but it’s a minor revision all things considered.
