Show HN: AISheets: PDF-to-interactive worksheets (with LaTeX support)

https://www.aisheets.study/

Hi HN,

I built AISheets after getting fed up with reading chapters, closing the book, and realizing almost nothing stuck. I learn best when I’m quizzing myself along the way, but every app I tried was either clunky or missing basic features for technical subjects (such as rendering equations etc) or just too expensive.

AISheets lets you drop in a PDF and instantly get quick recaps, mind-maps, flashcards, fill-in-the-blank/matching exercise/MCQ questions, and other small drills in the form of a single "worksheet." You can then go through the worksheet to get a quick overview of your subject and check your understanding via the activities.

The worksheet is editable, so you can also supplement the content with your own notes, etc. (useful if you're an instructor I guess) It also handles equations somewhat cleanly, thanks to basic LaTeX support and you can also export the worksheet as a PDF, if you like reading things on a Kindle or printing out hard copies like me.

Yes, making LLM API calls costs money. Currently users get 3 free worksheet generations and after that it's a pay as you go model.

It’s still early and there’s plenty to refine. I’d love thoughts from anyone who cares about learning tools!
