Show HN: Bora – cooperative payments system enabling 100% gradual recoup

https://bora02.netlify.app
2•Arkad-IV•8mo ago
Most financial tools focus on yields from savings or interests from credit. I wanted to explore something different.

A closed-loop transaction network where users can gradually recoup 100% of what they spend, not from companies, but from each other, via voluntary contributions.

It’s not crypto, not debt, and not a trick. Just an economic experiment with transparent math and cooperative incentives.

Try the demo: https://bora02.netlify.app (Create any 3 test accounts with any data, "deposit" funds, send money from 1 to 2 with additional “tip”, then back and forth between 2 and 3 with additional. After a few transactions, check how account 1 starts to recoup.)

How it works: - Concept writeup: https://www.oasis-of-ideas.com/ideas/building-cooperative-ne... - Videotutorial: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXbWQ6qXjKQvgLYw_zDOtCemV...

This is more of an economic experiment than a product right now: a math model and a working demo. I’ve been exploring ways to take it further, but I’m more of a system designer than a startup operator.

If this sparks your curiosity and you’d like to collaborate or build on it, let’s talk. I'm eager to get feedback on how to tighten the math model, explore the incentive design and behavioral implications and possible edge cases.
