I'm a self-taught developer and podcaster. I’ve built ProxyFeed — a stable RSS proxy that works for podcasts, blogs, newsletters — anything with a feed.
It gives you a clean, stable RSS URL (with your own subdomain) that always stays the same — even if the original feed changes. You can update the source anytime. This way, you can safely share and publish your feed without worrying about host shutdowns, broken links, etc. You can think of it a bit like FeedBurner — but without the shutdown risk, ads, or platform lock-in.
Example:
- Original feed: https://podcast.yeldar.org/feed.xml
- Permanent proxy: https://feed.yeldar.org/podcast
Why I made this:
Years ago, when I didn’t know how to code yet, I dreamed of this tool. I saw feeds disappear when platforms shut down. That stuck with me. Now, after teaching myself to program, I built the first version just for my own show. When I saw it worked, I spent the next 3 months of my evenings making it something anyone can use.
It’s:
- Simple: paste your RSS → get a stable proxy - Flexible: use our system domain or your own subdomain - Compatible: works with Podcasting 2.0 tags (podcast feeds) - Focused: no ads, no tracking, no lock-in
