Apple's image search on shipping platforms is really good, but I still have weekly instanced where Finder, Notes, and Mail all independently fail to find plaintext in the items I'm looking for. The content is there, Apple's search implementation just won't find it.

An example, from Notes: I was to meet a client at a coffee shop. I searched "starbuck" in Apple Notes, where I'd saved the address. Apple Notes could not find the note, because I'd actually typed "Starbuck's" into the note and for whatever reason, that's not a match.

One Apple app that seems to have decent search is Reminders. The developer must use some better form of fuzzy search and actually just searching rather than using a cached index.
