It seemed to me that many people already believe that it had ties to the FSB and Russian Government? Is that just the tech bubble at work?
I use Telegram daily, but I'd never thought for a moment that it was "secure". As far as clients/networks I could choose with good usability, it just seemed preferable to have my privacy invaded by the FSB rather than the usual US advertising giants. Spread the data around a little instead of centralizing it, y'know?
