The Fundamental Proof That Consciousness Transcends Computation

At this point, we really just don't know what "consciousness" is.

For all we know, it could be a quantum mechanical property of the universe. Does anyone have proof that it is not?

The brain may have evolved a means to tap into this quantum realm --- similar to the way migratory birds have evolved the ability to see the earth's magnetic field and use it for navigation.

The one thing I am certain of --- there is no real logical reason to believe an electronic device can do the same.

airesearcher•8mo ago
That is similar to the point that the paper makes - however it proves it rigorously with formal logic.

Rhetoric masqueraded as science. Exhausting.
airesearcher•8mo ago
Why don't you read the formal paper and then decide... instead of rhetoric masquerading as commentary....? (however you will need to understand mathematical logic and formal logic)
airesearcher•8mo ago
Here's the formal paper... but first read the simple summary linked above...
