Built Dread Rising because I got sick of reading 14 research papers just to retain 0 facts , it’s a tool that lets you drop in PDFs, gives you the highlighted the important stuff, chats with you like a smarter friend, finds related papers on arXiv, cross-checks answers with Google (if you turn that on). It’s Streamlit + Gemini + my frustration distilled into something actually useful. Use the hosted version here or run it locally from GitHub , clone it, install the deps, add your Gemini API key, and summon the beast. It's not here to write your paper, just to make sure you can.
