It is clear to me that Apple's leadership is too scared to face unvetted questions. I hadn't thought about that it was also a total lack of respect for devs.
The podcast linked from February was eye-opening ... Marco Arment and David Smith are developers I've listened to admired for years and they feel even more strongly than I do that Apple is lost/losing themselves.
