I agree with the sentiment of the page but the implementation is both lacking and also unnecessary.

Liquid Glass is just a faddy, bad UX, low contrast mess from Apple that doesn't improve anything for end users. There's no need to attempt to recreate it to prove any kind of point. By recreating it you're almost saying it's worth doing. It's not, and that's what the comparisons to Vista mean - "why are you doing this Apple? MS did it years ago and look where that went".
