Feature Phone and Pegasus Style Spyware Question

4•searchaliasaps•7mo ago
Hi! If someone were to use suppose a Nokia 225 4G (2024) - I know about there is no encryption for messaging as in signal and I'm also aware about cell tower triangulation for location - but in terms of a bad actor infecting your phone via zero click exploit to listen to everything you say and activating the camera and knowing your precise location would this feature phone be better in defeat that? Any info appreciated!!!

Might be vulnerable to silent SMS attacks. That phone run the OS "S30+" so you can see if you find any known vulnerabilities.

iPad mini with LTE service:

  - has data support
  - has VPN support
  - has no SMS support, eliminating SMS zero-click attacks
  - can use Apple Configurator profile to disable iMessage zero-click attacks
  - can use encrypted messaging apps like Signal
Smartphone:

  - microphone can be physically removed
  - camera can be covered by tape/case
  - can be placed in soundproof faraday bag
