The marketing slogan seems a little off given your audience.

> "Everything you get from ScienceDirect AI includes clear citations and direct links to the original source material."

If you market it that way, you should also deliver because otherwise the backfiring is guaranteed.

> "You can chat with it and interrogate the document."

I am not sure whether this feature is a selling point for your audience. But who knows.
