I knew something big happened, not because of what AV Herald said, but because of what it didn't say, namely that it wouldn't load at all.
It's right up there with Hacker News as the most lean, usable web interfaces that works on anything. The pages are only a few tens of kilobytes, taking only a few dozen packets to transmit. Even with thousands of hits per second, I'd expect the server run just fine on a 1st-gen Raspberry Pi. I wonder why Simon has been having so much trouble with it. Has open-source software become as bloated as commercial software?
