I was spending hours manually taking screenshots and timestamps from technical videos, then formatting them into my Obsidian vault. Figured there had to be a better way. Built a Chrome extension that:

- Allows you to capture video screenshots in one - Generates structured notes using a multi modal LLM - Saves everything directly to your Obsidian vault - Works on YouTube, Coursera, anywhere videos play

The extension currently uses whisper and gemini model API. Notes are saved as proper markdown files that integrate seamlessly with your existing Obsidian workflow or any other markdown app. Free tier gives you ~20 minutes of AI video processing to try it out. All features except AI notes taking are free.

- Rewatching lectures to find just one screenshot-able moment - Doing Manual screenshot → crop → save → import workflows - Losing context around why you saved something - Having video knowledge trapped in so many different folders instead of one place like Obsidian
