We're a small indie team working on Bot Colony _redux, a reimagining of a 2014 sci-fi game that was maybe a bit too early for its time. The idea is simple: you talk to the characters using your microphone or keyboard, and they respond intelligently. No dialogue trees, no pre-written choices, just natural conversation: whatever you want to say.

The game has been rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5, with a more powerful conversation engine under the hood. It's part sci-fi mystery, part open-ended sandbox. You can follow the main investigation, experiment with how the robots react to different inputs, or go completely off-script and see what happens.

We recently released our first public demo on Steam.

This project has been in development for over a decade, long before the current wave of LLM-based AI games. Our system is rule- and grammar-based, designed for consistent interaction and a high degree of control.

Would love to hear your thoughts on voice-driven gameplay, human-AI interaction, or anything else. Happy to answer questions about the tech behind it.

Thanks for checking it out!
