AI's bigger threat to humanity is that it's going to replace seemingly high-quality arguments with unqualified slop. This blogpost is almost unfollowable and frankly doesn't make it's own case very well at all. I had to click around the site to learn made-up jargon I've never heard used in 10 years of machine learning research. They didn't even bother citing their claims, likely because they're too ridiculous to be true.

If you want to argue stuff like this, don't half-ass it. Seriously, cite your sources and explain without digression how this could become a threat to human survival.
