That can't possibly be the disbarred New York lawyer under criminal indictment for stealing from clients[0,1]? It's the same name. And Blue Origin's own press release[2] introduces him as
> "Owolabi is [sic] an attorney and a financial consultant. He is the author of Equitocracy"
And there's an easy-to-find personal web domain with New York contact information that links both, saying "This site is to provide information on the wrongful [sic] disbarment of Owolabi Salis", and also "The Complainant wrote a book titled “EQUITOCRACY” in the early 90s". (edit: And also links to court filings whose Brooklyn law-office address match the one in the criminal indictment, [0]).
On its face, it looks like this is the person Blue Origin is partnering with. The only discrepancy is the phrase "*is* an attorney" in the press release.

What a wretched, gilded society we've become—predatory frauds rocketing off to the moon on money they stole from the most vulnerable.
... a terminally wrecked ecosystem.-
