This is a bad PR move for Grok because most people don't want to use a right wing AI. Why should I? I have multiple better AIs to use. After he failed to tune it to promote the idea there was white genocide in S. Africa, he said something along the lines "people are going to have to get used to the idea that Grok doesn't agree with them all the time." He should have stuck to that.
Edit: I want Grok to succeed but I'm afriad this move by Musk will kill it

There is that saying that "reality has a left wing bias", otherwise why would the right need "alternative facts?"
pointed out that newspaper reporters tended to lean left but newspaper reporters tended to lean right and you could tease out both of these influences.

The evidence is overwhelming that Jan 6th was right wing political violence, not just from newspaper reporters, but from hours of real time video, audio and citizen reporting depicting the events of that day. I won't be gas lighted into not believing my own eyes and ears. For Elon Musk to train Grok to say otherwise is the major fail that will cause a lot of people to not use Grok. That's why I characterized Musk's comments as a PR fail
