Ask HN: Any pay for survival ( Scraping to Development – need job – video intro)

2•rashsharma•2h ago
Hi team,

Recently, due to pivoting of the business or some financial issues, the whole team got terminated.

I am eagerly looking for a job as I have 3 kids and below skills:

- My Small Github Video - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1v75XcznBnWlcKuditZDiydh56i4gHaLk/view?usp=sharing

- I have recorded a video of my organisation's GitHub repo where I am among the TOP 2 contributors across 80% of the organisation's REPO. I can show that video during the interview.

- From full-stack development to web scraping and bypassing CAPTCHA, I can do all very prominently.

- Importantly, I can work for 10-16 hours a day in my next job. Otherwise, you can fire me with immediate effect.

I have done all in my last job. I was the only one in the company who was able to bypass the captcha, as mentioned in the above Google Drive video.

I was the person in 2021 to bypass Cloudflare anti-bot protection for my organisation, even before curl_cffi of Python came into existence. All my work is in a private repo of the organisation. I can share a video and get recommendations from my last CTO

I can get a recommendation from my last CTO to vouch for my dedication, skill, and work.

I can show more validation of my work during the interview, and everything you need to confirm, I can potentially be one of the best hires for the company.

I need a job for survival, please reach out to me here - "dried-tree-fang@duck.com"

Keep an eye out for the monthly "who wants to be hired?" thread that'll be posted on Tuesday July 1st and post there.

You can see the June 2025 thread here: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=44159525

People still look at the current month's posts, but you'll probably have better traction with the changeover. Likewise check the Who's Hiring post the same day.
