Show HN: Studygraph – Personalized learning that adapts to your study style

https://www.study-graph.com/

Hey HN! I'm a college student who built this out of pure frustration with traditional learning approaches.

The Story College hit me like a truck from day one. The pace was relentless, the material dense, and honestly, I was only surviving because I had some prior knowledge in my field. But I kept thinking about my classmates who were completely new to this – how were they even keeping up?

One particularly overwhelming semester, I decided to stop complaining and build something for myself. I created what would become Studygraph – a learning platform tailored to exactly how I learn best. It worked so well that studying actually became enjoyable again.

Then something unexpected happened. I shared it with a classmate – we weren't even that close, but I needed validation that I wasn't just building something useless. His reaction floored me: "Dude, I'd actually pay for this." That stopped me in my tracks. I'm from a country where people will spend hours finding free alternatives rather than pay for software. If he was willing to pay, maybe I was onto something bigger.

The Problem We're Solving Every student learns differently. Some are visual learners, others need to hear information, some learn by doing. Yet most educational tools treat everyone the same way – here's the content, good luck figuring out how to absorb it. The pace of modern education doesn't help either. It's optimized for the mythical "average student" who doesn't actually exist. Real students are either bored because it's too slow, or drowning because it's too fast.

Our Philosophy We're not building an edtech platform for the world. We're building a personal tutor for each individual student who needs it most. Everyone is unique, and they deserve learning experiences that understand and adapt to their specific needs, pace, and style.

What Studygraph Does AI Tutoring: Get personalized explanations and guidance that adapts to how you learn best

Smart Flashcards: Auto-generated from your materials, optimized for your retention patterns Research Assistant: Help with finding, organizing, and synthesizing information for assignments

Collaborative Tools: Study with classmates while maintaining your individual learning style Adaptive Learning: The platform learns your strengths and struggles, adjusting content difficulty and presentation

Instead of forcing you to adapt to rigid courseware, Studygraph molds itself around your natural learning patterns.

What's Next We're still early, but the response from students has been incredible. I'd love to hear from other founders who've built in the education space, students who are struggling with traditional learning methods, or anyone who has thoughts on personalized education. What's your learning style? Have you found tools that actually work for how you think?

Built by a student, for students who deserve better than one-size-fits-all education.
