Can they nationalize the things? Is this simple coercion or is there legitimate business issues. If it’s the latter, Cal could cover. In today’s political climate, I am rather suspicious of petro companies and states. How complete is an Ev network in SoCal?

California is the world’s fourth largest economy. Close the refineries as superfund sites to be remediated and continue the transition to electrification, with greater subsidies if needed (for both vehicles and charging infrastructure). Fiat is going to be spent either way.
