How are you using Generative AI in your day-to-day problem-solving?

Hi everyone, I’m Hyojung Kim, a Ph.D. student in the Instructional Systems Technology (IST) program at Indiana University. I’m conducting exciting research on how Generative AI is shaping the way software engineers approach problem-solving in their work.

  What’s this about?

I’m looking for software engineers to participate in an interview to share your experiences using Generative AI to tackle complex challenges at work. Whether you’re a novice (newer to the field) or an expert (with years of experience), your insights will be invaluable in helping us understand the evolving role of AI in the tech industry.

What’s involved? 45-60 minute cognitive interview (virtually on Zoom or in-person) Audio recording (with your consent) for transcription & analysis purposes

Eligibility: Novice Engineer: Fewer than 5 years of professional experience or in an entry/junior role Expert Engineer: 5+ years of professional experience or in a senior role
