Show HN: Zooesis – instant veterinary lab test analysis from a photo

https://zooesis.com

For the past year, I’ve worked closely with veterinarians and saw how much time is lost manually transcribing and interpreting lab results—often leading to mistakes and delays, especially in small clinics or rural practices. I realized there had to be a better way.

So I built Zooesis (https://zooesis.com) from scratch: an AI-powered tool that analyzes veterinary lab tests (CBCs, biochemistry panels, urinalysis) instantly from a photo. It uses language models to extract values, interpret results, and generate clear, ready-to-use reports in seconds—no manual data entry required.

If you’re a vet, work in a clinic, or just curious about AI in healthcare, I’d love your feedback, suggestions, or questions.

Hey HN,

I’m a software developer who loves creating solutions that make a real difference. As the owner of two beagles, I’ve seen firsthand how important fast and accurate veterinary care is—not just for clinics, but for pet owners like me.

After noticing how much time vets spend manually transcribing and interpreting lab results (and how easy it is for errors to slip in), I decided to build Zooesis. It’s an AI-powered app that analyzes veterinary lab tests from a photo, interprets the results, and generates a clear report in seconds.

My goal is to help veterinarians and their teams save time, reduce mistakes, and focus on what really matters: caring for our animals.

I’d love any feedback, suggestions, or questions—always looking to improve!

Alejandro
