Show HN: Fluida – Global Payments for Businesses

1•metalmetta•4h ago
Hey HN, we’re Matteo and Nicolas, the founders of Fluida (https://www.getfluida.com): a global payment platform for SMBs with a need to pay suppliers, vendors, and contractors across borders. Check out our demo to see it in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=545IfgVW9mM

We started Fluida after seeing how slow, expensive, and opaque it is for small businesses in the US to pay international partners, especially in places like Europe, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. Bank wires take days, fees are unpredictable, and the user experience is stuck in the early 2000s.

Fluida makes cross-border business payments as easy as Venmo, but for companies.

- From onboarding to payout in a few hours - Pay invoices in EUR, MXN, BRL, COP, PHP and more coming soon - USD in, local currency or stablecoin out - No shady fees, simple monthly subscription - Instant or same-day delivery - Fully compliant, with invoice matching and audit trails

We’re built on USD-denominated stablecoins and modern banking rails, but our users never have to touch crypto. Everything happens behind the scenes: they upload an invoice, fund the payment, and it lands with the recipient.

Some use cases we’ve seen: 1. A US software agency paying dev teams in Bulgaria and Brasil 2. An ecommerce brand wiring suppliers in Portugal and India 3. A film production company sending payments to freelancers across Europe

We’re focusing on the 10M+ US-based SMBs that do business globally but don’t have a finance team or a treasury function. If you’ve ever sent a $2,500 international wire and watched $85 disappear in fees (without knowing why), this is for you.

Fluida is live and processing real payments. You can signup for early access or schedule a demo at https://www.getfluida.com and we'll get in touch soon to onboard your company personally.

Any thoughts, feedback, or horror stories about cross-border payments and invoicing nightmares are welcome! AMA
