One of the interesting thing about investments - technical or otherwise, is that it’s not so much about the what, why, or how, but the when. Steve Jobs genius wasn’t really in imagining the iPhone, I feel like most tech folks were anticipating it at the time, it was knowing exactly what features to try to include at what pace at that time.

As I recall when ChatGPT was announced and this whole revolution started, Google and other companies were sitting on this tech, but didn’t launch a product because they didn’t feel it was ready for prime time.

So it would be interesting if we threw a few trillion dollars at the problem and the timing was wrong.
