One of the reasons I decided to make this was because the reason I first started learning to code was to make Discord bots for the communities I was in. And after speaking to so many other teens during user interviews, I realised that making bots was a huge reason a lot of others started programming too! So I'm super excited to bring this magic to everyone :)
In case you have questions about legitimacy (totally reasonable! I had them too at first), our finances are fully transparent[1] and we have backing from GitHub and others to run programs for high schoolers globally. If you're 18 or under, I hope to see you participate :)
