Show HN: InfiniDesk – new app to switch between project-specific desktops on Mac

https://infinidesk.app
2•ben_s_e•4h ago
I just released InfiniDesk, a new macOS menubar app that lets you instantly switch between different sets of desktop files — one for each project or context (e.g. work, freelance, personal). You can also switch to a clean, empty desktop for online meetings, presentations, or focused work.

I originally built the prototype for myself while juggling multiple projects in academic research. Over the past 6 months, I’ve turned it into a polished, production-ready app. Just launched this week!

Safe: Doesn’t move or delete files — only toggles visibility Private: Works entirely offline Simple pricing: Free trial (50 switches), then $12.99 one-time

I’d love any feedback or feature suggestions.

Not owning a Mac I'm wondering if those work. Similar apps on Windows are aplenty but not very popular...
