No network, no contacts, how to get small funds?

1•healthy_mind•5h ago
Hi everyone,

I'm the founder of a mobile application for mental health, a project I've been working on for the past 10 months. We're almost ready for our MVP release.

My current situation is that I'm running out of money, with only one month of savings left before I need to find work. I believe this product is needed in the market, but selling subscriptions will likely only be possible about six months from now, especially as a solo developer.

I'm an introvert and don't prefer extensive networking on social platforms, nor am I active on social media. I've started a funding campaign, but I'm unsure how to drive traffic or find contributors. I've also considered cold-approaching angel investors on LinkedIn.

My preference is to avoid finding a development job so I can focus on this project.

What are your thoughts on how I can secure funding? What other options should I consider?

Any feedback on improving funding campaign is also welcome.

Pretend that I came to you and said: "I have been working on a marketing campaign and business plan for this app. I'm really passionate about it but I don't know how to code or how to build and distribute an app, and I don't really want to learn how to do it either. I'll have to get a new marketing job soon, but I'd really rather keep working on this business idea."

What would you tell me?
