The AI usage appears to be minimal and not so different than what "regular algorithms" did in the past. Most importantly, they won't use works to train generative AI, a fact buried deep in the article.

In other words, Kobo appears to be using AI in ways where AI does its best work. The title, then, is borderline clickbait and AI fearmongering.
