I tend to agree with most everything in TFA, but this is just oxymoronic. Obviously people will and already are being replaced. I'm far from the biggest transhumanist, but it does seem to me that we're heading into a world where there are only 3 main types of jobs for people:
1. Coming up with new ideas/questions to get AI going.
2. Troubleshooting generated artifacts/processes when they go wrong.
3. Do the menial stuff that just isn't economically worthwhile to fully automate yet.
And if I'm reading the map correctly, the remainder of present day human labor will just not be viable in a decade or two.
