Show HN: InvoiceFast – Generate clean, compliant invoices in seconds

1•skyzouw•7mo ago
Hi HN,

I built InvoiceFast, a minimalist, paid tool that helps freelancers and small businesses generate professional, compliant invoices instantly, without the friction of complex accounting software.

As a freelancer, I often found myself wasting 15-30 minutes creating invoices each time, jumping between Word templates, Excel sheets, and bloated online generators. InvoiceFast was born from the need to get paid faster without unnecessary friction.

What it does: • Instantly generate and download PDF invoices. • Clean, professional design ready to send to clients. • Includes necessary legal elements (invoice number, client details, notes). • Minimal interface, focused solely on fast invoice creation.

I believe many freelancers and indie hackers want to focus on their work, not on admin. InvoiceFast is built to serve that purpose.

I would love your feedback on: • What would make a tool like this genuinely helpful for you? • What small details or automation would save you time when invoicing? • Are there integrations you would find essential?

You can try it here: https://www.invoicefast.net/

Thanks for checking it out, and looking forward to your thoughts.

Thanks for checking this out.

I would love to hear your honest thoughts: • What is the most annoying part of creating invoices for you today? • Are there details that would save you time if automated? • Do you prefer ultra-simple tools like this for invoicing, or would integrations (payment links, client reminders) make it significantly more useful? • For those who have built freelancing workflows, what would you want from an invoicing tool like this?

The goal is to keep InvoiceFast as focused and fast as possible while adding only what truly helps freelancers and indie makers get paid without wasting time.

Happy to answer any questions and open to all feedback to improve this.
