Unless you want to do the "well actually GNU/Linux" thing Android is sufficiently different from most Linux OSes that it doesn't make sense to refer to them as the same. For the longest time the Android Linux kernel actually had a distinct set of grpahics APIs from the mainline Linux kernel. Those have been merged back together and Android runs on the kernel.org kernel now (apparently Google is requiring this for new devices which is very nice, almost nice enough to convince me to buy a phone again.)
When people say "Linux" they mean something that can run Bash and GCC in a VTE potentially (though not necessarily) with GTK or QT widgets and can be configured with ansible/Makefiles/RPM/bespoke scripts from vim.

Windows is already losing users, and that trend’s probably going to speed up as the EU keeps moving away from US tech. Honestly, I’m hoping this opens the door for a solid open-source alternatives to Excel to finally take off.

It's so weird they leaned into the idealized idiot group (not necessarily actual idiots) when smartphones do such a good job of capturing them. It's like they're just kind of done maintaining the OS and want to liquidate it.

That would make a huge amount of sense given the current state.
