The Xbox currently runs AMD x86 processors, just like the Playstation. "running windows" is not out of the question, but the question is then "what does running windows look like?" and "how much freedom should we give users over a product sold at a loss?". My answer would be pivot to arm, only because that's where everything is going, and perhaps it would be a good push for windows-on-arm gaming, that has been languishing because most game vendors do not have the time or focus to deliver WOA games alongside the more popular x86
