Alex Karp (Co-Founder, CEO and Director of Palantir) at Economic Club of Chicago [video]

Original title is vague and doesn't really explain the video's context and significance, which is mostly due to the venue and recency, so I have edited it as above. The original video title is:

> Alex Karp, Co-Founder, CEO & Director, Palantir, 5/22/2025

aspenmayer•7mo ago
The above comment is informative regarding the title change from the original, and is not meant to say that the video is bad, just typical title gore. The video itself is very interesting, and yet the vibe is bizarre but relatable. The chaotic clatters of plates and cups and cutlery create a strange mood which rises as the sounds fade into the background and Karp hits his stride.

I had no idea Karp sees himself as being on the populist left, which changes a lot about how I view him, and how I view negative portrayals of him and Palantir in the media. (I am also a leftist.)
