Ask HN: Vibe coding way above my pay grade makes you uncomfortable?

4•all2•5h ago
There's a lot going on in my head. I am simultaneously exhilarated, anxious, and concerned that I'm leaving learning and personal development on the table. I'm in the middle of developing a project that is purely vibe-coded in golang. I have little to no experience with golang (being primarily a python and C# dev). I'm watching this LLM agent chew through my requirements and design spec and implement major features in under 20 minutes.

It's awesome to behold. It writes code, builds tests around the code, documents it.

I feel like I'm operating two levels above my 'pay grade', like I'm cheating somehow. This is a personal project, so I'm not getting paid for it, but still...

Has anyone else run into this?
