I built Cold Craft, a Chrome extension that helps draft cold outreach messages quickly and naturally. I often struggled to write outreach emails or LinkedIn messages that didn’t sound robotic or forced, and found myself spending ages rewording them. As a developer, I thought there had to be a better way.
With Cold Craft, you just select the recipient type, purpose, and tone, and it generates a tailored message instantly. I built it to keep the flow simple: minimal clicks, clean UI, and fast results right inside the extension popup. It uses OpenAI for generation.
Building it taught me a lot about Chrome extension architecture, especially balancing a smooth UX with secure auth flows, efficient API calls, and bundle size optimisation.
