I’ve built a few small Rails apps over the years as hobby projects. I was interested in selling them as one-time-purchase, self-hosted products, similar Campfire and Writebook.

To make that easier, I built a tool called Discode. It handles packaging, licensing, and installation. I’m also using it to sell Discode itself.
