Looking at tesla's disclosures right now:

12.89% % of Shares Held by All Insider

50.13% % of Shares Held by Institutions

Elon owns less % than that total of 12.8%. There are multiple directors and CFO, etc who are insiders who hold. Elon has exitted Tesla and isnt controlling interest.

Also, SEC and US government has been attacking the company. He basically doesnt care. He's out.

Even a domestic terrorist group was attacking Tesla like as if it impacted Elon.

Tesla shares are Elon's accessible, liquid, source of wealth. That's what he used to buy the presidency for Trump. It is entirely rational and effective to avoid Tesla products.
