I really don't think that futzing with the audio is going to change the mixed impressions people got of the series.

The show was a mess. Which is exactly what you want from Twin Peaks. I'm sure it's punchier with theatrical sound... but you made a TV show, and you should have designed your art for that medium. Going to the cinema is a different experience.

I'm glad that people will get to see/hear something like what Lynch wanted them to see/hear. But 18 hours of Twin Peaks over two days... woof.
