Song for My Grandmother [video]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWu9sI3017g

I made this song for my grandmother. We lost her to Covid. She was a music teacher. She was also the kindest person I knew.

This was the hymn she chose for her funeral. Its from 1926. There are no good recordings online, so I decided to make one in her memory.

The music was generated by Suno. I fed it a MIDI to learn the melody. It took a lot of generations to get what I wanted. I’m happy with how it turned out. The video is courtesy of Veo (most scenes are from 3, some from 2). I stitched it all together in iMovie.

I thought I would share it here. To show that AI can do amazing things. Maybe it will make somebody somewhere smile.
