Silicon Valley start-ups and big AI players like OpenAI or Anthropic cloak their company’s narrative in humanistic terms. They are all pro-democracy and against authoritarian AI. Ico Maly (associate professor digital culture studies- Tilburg University) argues that critical attention to that narrative is wanted.
