As someone who has been down rabbit holes, I find this not only concerning but also relatable. I always call BS on what ChatGPT or other LLMs say, and it is sobering to see them backtrack.

It snaps me back to reality - but I can see the effect it will have on others who don’t have that ‘rubber band on their wrist’ to literally snap them back to reality.

For those who think they will never fall for these chatbots, that’s good. But lookout for someone you care about who is teetering with these newage tools - and caution them to take what they say with a pound of salt, if not more.
