Paying Google £billions, to help lock the cash-strapped UK gov't into using Google's pricey services in perpetuity.

I'd assume Google's sales guy for this deal got a very nice promotion.

Too bad that His Most Gracious Majesty can't ship whoever signed on the UK side off to the Tower.
