I made this app which tests your vocabulary. You have to name a word for every letter of the current word, and the last word becomes your new word. It's in beta.

The word list is limited.
I got "umbrella" is not a valid word.

Thanks that is strange. I am using the array of english words library but maybe needs to be something better.

Time is also too short game ends because I occasionally choose to type a word with more than 6 characters
Also the keyboard in android covers the submit button so you have to exit the keyboard to submit and it times out.
I was on hard mode

Thanks that's very useful. It's currently at 5 seconds but maybe I should make it 10.
On mobile versions I tried to add the "hit enter to submit" functionality but are you not finding that to be the case?

Tried it again and I got word not found for orange and something else, but I think the issue is that if I select a word from the suggestions on my phone it appends a space and that is why orange or umbrella is invalid. I would suggest stripping spaces from the start and end before submitting the word.

Oh I see! Yes it's probably the trailing spaces. I'll fix that.
