Will it still force Hitler references into my code?

Edit:// I feel stupid now for not realising this was again just one of the _brilliant_ marketing moves

pu_pe•8h ago
I can't imagine who is paying to use Grok, much less now that it has turned full nazi. xAI valuation is pure air.
M4v3R•8h ago
You do realize that it was @grok the X bot and not the model itself that went haywire? It’s not like the API version of Grok will randomly start impersonating Hitler (unless you specifically ask it to).
pu_pe•6h ago
As a customer, especially corporate, the PR shitstorm is definitely connected regardless of whether it's just a system prompt that was changed on the X version. Now that the owner of both X and xAI has demonstrated his inclination to introduce his bias on the main public version of their model, I wouldn't be so confident that training of the base model itself won't be biased too in the future, or perhaps already has been.
sergiotapia•1h ago
Me, I pay to use Grok. I've been using Grok instead of Google for a few months now. It's incredibly useful and up to date since it has access to the X graph. I wish I could use it in Cline or Cursor.
NitpickLawyer•8h ago
4x o3 and 2x opus 4 on ARC-AGI2... Other independent benchmarks look strong as well. It's that revolving meme with each model claiming "best in the world" for like a month. Good for consumers, as long as the prices remain in this range. Also more diverse datasets for training open access models. Win-win.

Watching people doing mental gymnastics because spaceman bad is sad. Lots of people need media detox for a while. They used to call LLMs "stochastic parrots", but looking at this thread and reddit right now, the "people" are just parroting stupid hateful stuff. You're supposed to be better! Be.
