Show HN: Pit – Complete image viewer in terminal (in C)

3•FerkiHN•13h ago
Hey HN! I've just finished developing PIT (Phono-in-Terminal) – a lightweight .png/.jpg image viewer that works directly in your terminal.

This utility is written in C, has no external dependencies, and runs even on low-end devices (including Termux on Android). Key Features: * View images without a GUI * Uses ANSI colors (not ASCII art) * Works on any terminal (Linux, Windows, Android) * Single executable file * Suitable for low-end/embedded systems

You can find examples of PIT in action in the demo folder of the repository. GitHub: https://github.com/Ferki-git-creator/phono-in-terminal-image...

I'd love to hear your feedback and advice, and feel free to leave a star on the repository if you find it useful. Thanks!
